A software company that works with some of the largest tech companies in the world are adding a Senior Backend Engineer to the current team as they kickstart a project to create new features on the ever-changing app.

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be working closely with the full JavaScript stack however you will have a focus 80% of your time on backend TypeScript. The full technical stack includes TypeScript, Node, React, NextJS as well as AWS and GraphQL.

The engineering function has grown by almost 50% in the past 12 months. Your expertise in the JavaScript Stack will be vital, with learning and development being front of mind both for yourself and using your knowledge to upskill those around you as the team continues to expand. The plan is two make two immediate hires into the team, with several following by end of Q2.

You will help build new features and modules as well as being involved in shaping the underlying product frameworks and internal processes like code reviews and deployment.

For this role you will need experience working with;

• Node.
• TypeScript.
• React ideally NextJS.
• Cloud technologies, ideally AWS.

• 2nd and final stage being an hour technical interview.
• Should both stages go well you will receive an offer.
